Cookies and device storage

Effective October 12, 2026. Lexy Forge uses necessary storage to run the learning app and optional analytics on marketing pages only when you accept it.

Necessary account and app storage

The application uses HttpOnly authentication cookies named accessToken (approximately 15 minutes) and refreshToken (approximately 30 days) to manage signed-in sessions. These durations describe the configured cookie lifetimes, not a guarantee that every session remains valid for that long.

Local browser storage, IndexedDB, and Cache Storage hold settings, offline learning content, app resources, and data awaiting synchronization. This storage is important for the PWA's offline functions and may remain until cleared, replaced or removed by the application or browser.

Analytics consent

On marketing pages, we store your accepted or rejected choice under the localStorage key lexyForge.marketingAnalyticsConsent.v1. We do not load optional Google Analytics before acceptance. After acceptance, Google Analytics can place cookies such as _ga and related properties to help measure website usage and interactions. Exact browser-specific identifiers and lifetimes can vary with Google Analytics configuration.

If you reject or later withdraw analytics consent, the website will not load Google Analytics on subsequent visits while that choice is saved. We also attempt to remove analytics cookies accessible from our domain; cookies stored or controlled elsewhere may need to be managed in your browser.

Review or change your decision on the Privacy page. You can use the landing page without accepting analytics. Clearing browser site data may reset your stored choice and prompt you again.

Service providers and choices

Infrastructure, sign-in, billing and external websites may involve their own technical cookies or storage when you use those services. Read our Privacy Policy for the categories of providers involved.

To remove local data, use your browser's site-data controls. This can sign you out and erase downloaded offline lessons or unsynchronized changes. Contact support@lexyforge.com for privacy or storage questions.
